Staffing problem?  What happened to the existing workers?  Quit?  Still have those questionable levels of lead in their bodies so they staying home collecting unemployment?

By the way, how are those RSO's getting their 40 hrs. a week working weekends?

Half of them quit, and the other have were temporarily reassigned to work at other parks.  They are part-time workers, contracted I think.

It doesn't pay much and no benefits.  It's a job more for gun enthusiasts who are retirees or just want to hangout at the range.  I can see how it would be hard to fill positions as it's a niche kind of thing.

Mean while have any of you gotten your property tax statements?
We pay an outrageous amount of money just to get substandard results.
In order to fund the rail our taxes will absolutely go up.

Yep.  Got mine.  All that came out of my mouth was WTF........

My mind was swirling with a multitude of thoughts: Councilmembers 3X pay raise, Blangiardi declaring he wants us "to feel safe", ::) (no blame the law, gunfunnit), 10 Billion dollar Rail that goes nowhere,

And a partridge in a pear tree.  Who knows how many billion that sh*t cost.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

Heard they are hiring some ROs.  They are in the process of onboarding now and will start training.  Hopefully they’ll start to open weekdays in a couple of months.  Maybe start with only one weekday for now.  I think the biggest hurdle is finding a range master and assistant.  That might prevent the range from returning to normal hours.

Good news. . .

I used to go Friday mornings often.  Worked well for my work schedule, as well as usually less busy.
