Did the subject of parental responsibility come up at all?  What was his high schooler doing out getting into whatever he was up to after midnight?

I'm pretty sure my kids never left the house after midnight without my wife and me knowing.  If they did, they'd be driven anywhere they needed to go for a few months so we know where they are, who they are with, and what they are doing.

“My beloved baby brother Miguel Agoo. Loved by so many. A child of 8 siblings, the last of our bunch. The next generation of us. The 8 of us is all we have. He’s a son, grandson, Brother, an uncle. We lost over gun violence. He loved fishing, riding bikes, fixing bikes & not only fixing bikes but anything that would be broken around my house. He always asked if I needed help around the house, always made us laugh, and always made sure everyone around him is alright. I’m his sister 20 years old, that took care of him & raised him like my own. We never really had our parents in our lives. We the 8 of us raised each other. I nor my family have the finances to give him a funeral and/or celebration of life that he deserves. He didn’t deserve anything that had happened to him. He’s a good kid with a beautiful heart. He’s always made sure his sisters were good. He’s so young and had so much ahead of him in life. He had such a beautiful heart. I seen a future mechanic & so much other great things he could’ve made of himself. We have just lost our sister not even a year ago. And now my baby brother was taken from us! I’m asking for any help, anything helps please.”

Oahu stay all jam up. Too many people.  Even where I live in rural Puna getting crowded. I now get neighbors both sides, but at least no one can
build behind us.  Heavy tree growth blocks out the neighbors houses from view.
Happily living in Puna

You can't solicit for the legal defense of someone charged with a violent crime.  Since he's dead, that's not an issue.

You also can't use false or misleading information to solicit donations.

i reported the fundraiser to GFM.  I said it contains false information.  According to police, it was likely drug-related. It  happened in a closed public park after midnight.  The deceased was a minor and carrying a pistol.  The stated cause of death in the fundraiser description was "gun violence",   No mention of his criminal acts -- illegally possessing and carrying a loaded firearm for starters.

Blaming the gun is fashionable and politically correct, but at least two young people decided to illegally have a firearm that night.  No matter what transpired, that fact alone makes this a criminal act on the part of the deceased, which should not be rewarded via donations going to the family.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

This is my grumble. The mag lawsuit was taken down in 1 hour, but yet this one is still up.

Does anyone if they "traced" the guns?  I didn't hear them use the term "Ghost Gun" Again or that the firearm(s) were reported stolen.

Crickets. So I'll say it's a lost HPD handgun.  There's a reason why this portion is being buried.  They didn't even want to say the model/make.

there are many, many possibilities that have a greater chance of being correct than "lost HPD handgun"
pure speculation, much more than "i'll say"...

Lost Fed handguns
Fed sting operation handguns (like Fast & the Furious)
Stolen from HPD armory or evidence
Stolen from Fed armory or evidence

The typical pattern the media uses isn't being used for this one.

Chemtrails cannot steal a gun. Aliens and menehune can. Focus

The takeaways from this is that our local government is inclined to listen to a person with a spotty past, a broken family over law-abiding, working-class citizens who want to lawfully protect themselves. I think that this is what the local political elites want - a broken family that is highly dependent on government - thus creating a loyal, voting base. Not good for the State in the long run but good for those in charge living in their ivory towers above us.
