Looks like Atlantic had some Tavors in stock some time recently, shipping to purchasers by mid April. Too bad they're only getting them in limited numbers.

Bruddah fstbckgt, did you signup for the Cope's Distributing Pre-Order that bruddah swissk31 linked?

Also, I could be mistaken, but I don't think IWI US has started shipping units to any of the distributors, yet... supposedly, IWI US is still waiting on brochures and manuals to be printed, or some crap.

Atlantic Firearms and a few other places have the TAVOR SAR posted online, but the online posting seems to be solely for advertising purposes and to provide viewers with the option to select the "Notify Me When Back In-Stock" email feature (more advertising purposes).

Unfortunately I missed out on the preorder, but had I seen it I still would have ordered the Chiappa Rhino and 1911 I have on the way now. My need for long guns has been satisfied for the time being.
Anyways, yeah they all just seem like pre-orders. I just can't wait to see some pictures come on to the forums when people actually start getting their hands on their pre-orders.

Yeah, I hear ya... if my long gun needs were satisfied, and if I had a Chiappa and a 1911 on the way, I don't think I would be too down-spirited either!!

On an unrelated note, I read something about IWI US trying to develop a .300blk barrel for the TAVOR SAR.

Should be pretty interesting if they can make a "go" of it.
Nice. I know I saw something about them doing 9mm and 5.45 conversion kits for the US as well.

Some dude in Ohio's IWI Tavor on Gunbroker

SOLD!  $4,000.00!  For that, he gets to be the first kid on his block to have one!!   :worship:

Thanks for the point out New Guy, I knew the Tavor reminded me of something & now I know what it is... The pulse rifle!

Danger-Close-Tactical is kind of new, I have picked up a few things there & plan to pick up a lot more. The owner's a good dude, a veteran, and straight up... Going to be a solid shop I'm certain.

As far as the Tavor, I was looking at FDE initially then the IDF version, I've settled on the standard B16 in black but may switch it up if he manages to get hold of a B18.  We'll see!

Ahui hou gents :shaka:

That rifle looks pretty interesting. Lots of features. I'm just not sold on that wide open trigger guard on a combat rifle. I'm sure the Israelis have proven its safety in combat but I can picture your sling or other gear getting caught on the trigger in the middle of a combat roll. I've seen crazier things happen with m4's with more traditional trigger guards while bounding wtih the safety on. Luckily we were only in miles gear.
