S&W 627 Performance Center. 8 shot 357 magnum, takes moon clips or can shoot without the moon clips if you like. moon clips make for a pretty fast reload. trigger is smooth and not too heavy for a revolver.  I like the look of the unfluted cylinder. these Altamont grips are pretty nice too.

got this holster over the weekend from Simply Rugged to go with the Dan Wesson PM9. custom made to order holsters. advertised a 6 week build time, but I got mine in only 3 weeks. happy with that fast custom lead time
very happy with how it turned out. fitment is tight but not too tight, so retention is very good for a leather holster, doesn't need a retention strap or anything like that. can do cartwheels with this on and it ain't going nowhere
got mine with their fish scale embroidering which looks very nice. overall fit and finish is superb
I highly recommend Simply Rugged for their custom leather holsters.  they have other items too, like belts, mag holders, other leather goods, etc

Stang has some really nice pistols and revolvers.  His knives and holsters are really nice also.

I only own 4 handguns, 2 revolvers and 2 pistols.  One revolver is so cheap and ugly you all would laugh at it.  My two pistols are just journey-level pistols.  No gucci-level bling bling whatsoever.  Plain Janes, lol!

Not as impressive as a SW500 but still shiny for a gun that I had for 43 years.

my collections are humble ones, i think. there are others that have better and more expensive stuff than me. over the years I've just matured and i prefer certain qualities in firearms and knives.
the S&W model 29 is the best S&W to me. Dirty Harry is why I love the 44 magnum cartridge. so the 29 is very interesting to me.

I'm old too.  I like leather and lever guns also!

I prefer leather > kydex
Leather is less wear and tear on the gun's finish
Leather holster rides close to your body and it's more comfortable than kydex
Leather is much better looking than kydex, making a better bbq rig 🤠
