Going off tangent, but here's a FYI:
Many CCW that you can apply via the mail require a photo. Makes sense as you aren't there to take a pic in person and they do put your pic on the card.
Nevada
You have to take an approved class like how you do in HI. But, the completion doesn't have to be notarized. Which means you get your completion paperwork after the class is over.
NV has 5 stations that take your pic, vs the 1 here. I mean you could count both sides, but in the end its 1 person at a time here.
NV also has 5 fingerprinting stations.
NV has 12 windows for people to hep you. Precovid, there were abotu 40 in line before us and we were helped, printed and photo's in 12 minutes.
NV also takes credit card.
NV doesn't have to show residency, any states drivers license or state ID or passport is acceptable.
NV has no registration, so you don't have to show one. Your CCW is valid for any handgun you own.
They mail your card within 120 days. So there is no need to go back and pick it up.
