I don't know why I'm like that either.  I bought my safe, 1,000 rounds of ammo, and my optic before I had even bought my first AR.  The Sec and OGC guys just laughed at me.

Laughed all the way to the bank.

Some "new" furniture from Mother Russia, a bit different when compared to K-var's stuff.   Surprisingly, the Izhmash stuff is of much better quality IMHO

Just purchased this knife from Knives Ship Free.  A2 steel and African Blackwood handle.  Love this knife!

BUT, will take some skill to sharpen when needed since it has a convex curve.

nice knife what brand is that
a2 steel isnt that bad to sharpen. just get a leather strop and some fine silicone carbide sandpaper for when it really dulls down past stropping.

It is a Bark River Bravo 1.  It is not the steel I am concerned with (I have an Edge Pro Apex), but the convex curve of the blade = cannot use conventional sharpening techniques.  I have a leather (barber's) strop - works GREAT!

Thanks for the tip, I heard that using sandpaper that can "bend" to the curve will sharpen the blade well.  :shaka:

Ooh, didn't know that.  I have a similar Bark River and had every intention of using my Edge Pro :-\  Thanks for the info.

NP.  There are videos out there that explain/show how to sharpen it.

How you like the edge pro?  & what stones do you use?

Got some budget optics. Holographic sight with a 5x magnifier. They appear to be constructed well. Just wondering how long the sight will hold zero being that it's not a 500$ sight. We shall see.

nice! i just missed a cheap demo model on ebay a couple weeks back. i cant wait to pick one up for a lightweight build. cheapest i found so far is 48 from midway.

if you didnt already check out those paracord add ons you should. it makes it look more like a magpul moe/ctr style, plus it helps make sure the stock doesnt hook anything. not only that you get an extra stash of paracord on hand.  i was gonna attempt to make my own when i finally get my hands on a minimalist stock.

Rocky is correct.... the towel not only makes it dark.  But it protects the cat from the weather elements.   I hate stinky wet pussys
