"Cho’s son Hyun-jin says “every people in Hawaii is really nice, so I didn’t expect there was the armed robbery. Many customers are telling me get a gun, but I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
Common sense gun control at work here. Be sheep. Let them rob you first then call 911.
...
If he thinks it's not a good idea, then he does not posess the mindset of a responsible gun owner.

Crims being crims, Hilo style.
I see no mention in any of the articles that he was charged with any firearms violations. I guess it's one of those extremely rare cases where a previously law-abiding citizen who is a lawfully registered firearms owner suddenly goes berserk. Sure it was. Any bets on whether that guy has a previous "record" and that that record qualifies him as a "prohibited person" or that the gun he used was lawfully registered to him?

I just read this article. I didn't know this happened yesterday, and it's around the corner where I work. I tried to search on other local news sites, but couldn't find more info.

Thank goodness we are allowed to defend ourselves. Only 122 weapons related crimes in the last 181 days here on O'ahu. That doesn't include any other crime type.
