The typical deep state response to getting caught in a massive scandal is to offer up one or two low-to-mid level scapegoats to take the fall. There's almost never a complete investigation done -- at least not one that goes beyond naming anyone other than the scapegoat/s.

Tump's people are actually limiting what is released then claiming someone within the FBI is hiding the real documents. Wrong. You haven't been paying attention to what's been happening to those who support Trump and don't support them since 2016. Here's a hint, they could redact everything but Trump, then keep him locked up like how they did with the J6 people and Eddie Galleghar (SEAL). Deny/limit outside contact, which was done to both.

The release of the documents can be in a completely separate box. Whether the deep state is real or not, whoever might be on the list, it is possible that the Trump administration is stringing it along for his gain by pretending he is trying to release it but having it withheld so he can claim forces are working against him. It would be a clever tactic to employ given how much his supporters believe in the deep state claim.

The crappy thing is we will probably never know the truth. No matter how much they release there will always be suspicions that there is more. Bondi, Kash, etc. are all showing they are liars about the Epstein files. Lying about their intention to release or lying about their existence, or lying about lack of existence.

It would have certainly helped but I doubt that prisons plan their operations based on what conspiracy theories will pop up if a prisoner dies.

What's interesting is that there are many who support Trump and want the release of files and a more in depth explanation. I remember someone here and others saying that Trump is a cult and he has blind supporters type of thing.
If we go just based on popular people who use social media, many are calling for more info. Compare this to all the popular Biden supporters who used social media and never stated anything bad about Biden.

I don't believe this. If it were a hoax, the fake news would run hard the story and find a way to blame trump. There are even pics of him and epstein standing next to each other and it got minimal coverage.
IMO, the fake news knows that the stories are true and are covering for those in power and all those who are famous and supported their fake news agenda. Which is why they ran minimal stories about him and Maxwell.
Had Trump been on the "list", then they would have ran hard with that as well, while shielding others.
But it's pretty much silence, so to say it's a "hoax" doesn't add up. As stated in the video, this may be an intentional "scandal" created by Trump and his appointees to distract from all the immigration and birthright citizenship coverage.
Trump's proven time after time that he's a master when it comes to manipulating the media and what people are focused on.
Don't believe all the indicators pointing to Trump trying to cover up the Epstein list. He may just be using this as a smokescreen for other issues while simultaneously providing investigators more time to put a bow on the Epstein files before actually releasing them.

The mental stress of being POTUS is more exhausting than physical stress. Trump is an old fart but he is handling the mental stress well and his energy level physically rivals people decades younger than him.

The more I look at this Epstein list debacle the more red flags I see in Donald Trump.
There is ample evidence they were close friends
There is the alleged note from Trump to Epstein about secrets being kept
The WSJ reported Trump's name was in the Epstein files many times (though no mention of any incriminating context)
Trump has a record of saying inappropriate sexual things to/about women
Trump has a record of saying he and Epstein likes them (women) young
There are multiple allegations of sexual misconduct by Trump
Trump admitted to going into dressing rooms at the Miss USA pageant and there are multiple reports of him doing so at the teen pageant as well.
Trump was once asked in an interview how young was too young for a partner for him and he named an incident where some other guy got caught with a 12 year old as an example of how young was too young...
Trump was in power when Epstein died/was murdered (whichever you believe). He was also in power during much of the investigation.

When Maxwell was going to trial for her part in sex trafficking Trump wished her well.... who wishes that to someone being tried for sex trafficking of a minor?
Trump said he "never had the privilege of going to his island"... An odd thing to say about someone facing life in prison for sex trafficking minors.
Now Trump is in power, having campaigned on getting the files released only to turn around say that there is nothing in the files, and insult his own followers who wanted the files released.
Trump then tries to tell us the Epstein files were made up by Obama and Biden. So if Trump was in the files then Biden would have released it but now Biden made fake entries into the files and didn't release it? Counteracts his own claim.
Then he sends the second of command at the DOJ to interview Maxwell... Seems more like an attempt to distract angry supporters than a serious investigation.
When asked if he would consider pardoning Maxwell he left it open as a possibility.
Everyone loves to say if Trump was in the files in an incriminating manner the left would have released the documents. I have to admit this argument holds some weight if you don't have faith that the agents in charge would protect the documents properly. But if we are going to believe that Democrats would go to that level then we must also concede that Trump, when he was in power, could have ordered the incriminating evidence destroyed before Biden ever came to power.
There is no smoking gun for a criminal charge that I have seen yet but there are too many red flags here to ignore. I think this Epstein file fiasco might be the thing that takes down Trump. Even murderers and robbers in prison don't stand for pedophiles, I think he might loose too many supporters on this one.

Sure, maybe Trump sent in the Navy Seals or the CIA, murdered him, made it look like a suicide and edited the tape, it is possible. But it is not only very plausible that he killed himself, it also fits with Ockam's razor. Epstein knew his gig was up, decided to end it, and crappy prison guards didn't make checks or didn't care and let him do it. The murder is more juicy a story of course and fits big conspiracy theories but in my assessment is the less likely explanation.

Why would I write something I don't believe? By nature I am not dishonest.
If your definition of lefty hinges on loyalty to Trump then your definition of left is meaningless in actually determining where someone sits on the political spectrum. If you surveyed me I would land center to right on most issues. Trump shares quite a lot of positions with the left BTW so maybe MAGA people are lefty now? Just saying.
Looking at politicians, in the lens of good and evil is, in my opinion, too limiting. For starters there is the problem of false dichotomy, not everything is either good or evil and a good person can sometimes do an evil thing. People don't consciously say to themselves "He is on our side so I support him no matter what he says" rather this happens subconsciously through tribal pressure and cognitive dissonance. If your tribe, your team, all points to the color orange and says it is red, humans, generally speaking, will repeat a lie and even convince themselves it is the truth rather than suffer the consequences of going against the tribe. There is also a cult of personality dynamic at work when it comes to Trump.
Proof that this is happening with Trump is in how Trump has taken multiple actions which contradict conservative values and traditional conservatives convince themselves there is no conflict. For example, tariffs and protectionism are liberal ideas but Trump comes in with his tariff ideas and his supporters flip flop their ideals to support him. Conservatism seeks smaller, less powerful government but Trump does the opposite and MAGA does gymnastics to find ways to justify their support of Trump.
While good and evil certainly exists, influential leaders like to use moral judgements to push us into line. If a politician says policy X is not beneficial to Americans that just doesn't have the same affect on a group as if he says policy X is evil. When the politician of your side says policy X is evil you lean away from that policy because you don't want the tribe to see you as agreeing with evil .
Then there is the fact that it isn't hard to make the case that Trump has done evil things, like going into the changing room of teenage girls and women. If Biden had admitted to that the right would be attacking him as evil mercilessly for it, yet Trump admits to it and the right lets it slide. Clearly it is not the evilness of the act, rather it is whether the guy who committed the act is on your team or not.
You don't often see me commenting about how bad the left is because it seems rather pointless, I would be just repeating what a dozen other members already post. Do you see a point in preaching to the choir? Unless such post isn't actually about stating a belief but rather signaling to the tribe.... Would it make you feel/think differently of me if I threw in some obligatory "Biden is evil because ....." post?
Don't assume my position on an issue just because I don't post about that issue, if you want to know where I stand on it just ask. I could list many many flaws of Biden. Also don't fall prey to a false dichotomy thinking that because I am critical of Trump I am therefore supportive of Biden. They are both terrible presidents in my opinion.
