fellas its a 2a cook out you here on 2a reading it your invited just bring a dish either cooked or prolly going get one grill to cook there im assuming byob. at least thats what i think im there for sure... oh probably good idea to bring your guns and shoot first. thats my 8 cents the first 2 is free.

I'm bringing my rem 870 bullpup that was gifted to me by brudder newguy to shoot that day. No joke he did thanks bro with the modded trigger it is 10 x better now :shaka: and of course some grinds thanks dex for organizing.

mac i did the mod to the bullpup kit trigger rod not the the 870 itself.

I called the parks and rec. they told me as long as the gate is open we can stay there.

We stayed to 6pm last Sunday and no one bothered us
Just can't have more than 25 people and no alcohol (duh)

Technically, taking your family to the beach requires a park use permit. Any group over 1 is an activity. You can find this in the HAR re: parks.

I'm new to the island, just got stationed out here and am looking to swing by the party. I'll see about bringing some hotdogs and chips. Hopefully there'll be a grill available. Anyone know of a gunstore open tomorrow? I'd love to be able to go shooting tomorrow and I need some M-1 Garand safe .30-06, or .308 ... or .300 Savage ... or 30-30 ...or 8mm ... or 7.62x54R ... or 7.7mm Jap or 9mm ... or .357 ... or .38Special. Hell, lets just say I've got quite the collection and I'd like to get some out to stretch their legs but I couldn't ship my ammo with the movers. I hope y'all have some signs up or something to make it easy to find. I've not even been to the range there yet.

there's on main parking lot in the middle of the crater
it runs perpendicular to the entry road
look for the bathroom building on the left as you enter, and the picnic table area is across from that
i doubt there's gonna be more than one or two groups there
just ask "are you guys 2ahawaii.com"?
orthere will probably be a big group on the rifle benches
just look for the biggest group with the most guns
and ask for speedtek or dirtylickins
no wait, don't EVER go up to a group of locals and ask for dirtylickins

Besides SpeedTek, it was kool to meet some of the 2a members for the 1st time today. Wasn't planning to stick around but SpeedTek forced me to & twisted my arm.. just kidding lol.. Man the food was awesome, thanks again for your hospitality guys :shaka: My kids said their not eating dinner tonight, their still stuffed lol.. Looking forward to meeting more 2a members & get togethers in the near future :)

You missed out on some great food.. Ribs, thai garlic pepper chicken, lau lau, pastele stew, refreshing watermelon. We all end up taking extra food home, I don't have to spend money for lunch today im eating left over pastele stew & making my workers jealous ;D Again awesome ribs macsak :)
