I don’t think labor laws allow anyone to get paid below the minimum wage.

Depends on the state.

Armasight pls-7 gen 2+ white phosphorus
It’s a dual eyepiece but only one tube, I got it for a little under $2 k it’s pretty sweet and fun to play with my friends all have monocle style and if I had to do it again I’d go that route. The monotube with two eyepieces make it almost impossible to aim passively from a rifle, from a pistol works great though lol
My friend has gen 3 white phosphorus and it’s definitely clearer, but it also cost like double what I paid 🤷‍♂️ so for me it’s good enough to have 2+ since we just screw around with it sometimes. It’s definitely an expensive toy though lol
Just checked seems the stuff I got isn’t made anymore similar is 2,600-3,000ish so I’m glad I got mine a few years back lol

Correction just found the one I have on a different website, and it is still around $2 k

I don't know what type of policies they have over there but I don't see how he can justify pushing the trailer like that or pulling his gun. (Unless I missed something)

It’s the tribal police. This was tribal land, so they don’t have to follow the same rules. Probably knew he wouldn’t get any negative blow back.

Surefire titan. I love the small size, but wish it was a click type on the tail instead of a twist of the head. It also always comes on default to the lowest setting.

Why was GW Bush solely responsible?  Seems like he had just a little help from Congress since he can't pass legislation without the support of YOUR elected representatives.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patriot_Act

i always marvel at how a president in office at the time that pretty much anything happens gets the blame or credit regardless of what 435 elected Representatives and 100 elected Senators did.

Lol no I blame the others as well, and because we are idiots who elect the same people over and over again a lot of them are still in office 20+ years later 🙄
But yes the president usually shapes policy and leads his party, and if his party has the house and senate the president is largely responsible for policy.
I believe Ron Paul was one of the few who voted against it I wish we had more people like him now.

Bush family is as deep state as they come. All their policies turned into total disasters.

Yup. 👍 I’m sure they’re not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts either. Jr. is responsible for the patriot act as well. 🙄

Man, I was all in on DeSantis. He was doing some awesome things as governor of Florida during the lockdowns, but then I found out his presidential campaign is being run by the Bushes 🤨. Kinda disappointing 😔 not too sure who I’ll support. I mean definitely over newsome

Too bad I love s7, but ya that location is pretty shitty. I only went once to that location, and they had signs basically asking please don’t shoplift 🙄 or if you do shoplift only take what you need.

General Discussion / Trading a pistol from the mainland questions
« on: June 13, 2023, 09:20:19 PM »
Hey, my buddy and I want to trade pistols. He is on the mainland, but comes to Hawaii for work a lot. My gun is registered, and I’m wondering how and if I could do this legally and what all would be involved if anyone has done something like this before?
Basically his gun was acquired on the mainland, and I’m wondering if I did trade it would I be able to register it and explain I made a trade for it? I would want it registered because I would consider carrying it and doing my CCL with it?

Holy crap, this is insane! Called about seeing how much a new corvette would be… and the dealer told me they’re selling them for $20,000 above msrp!! That’s insane! Have any of y’all bought any cars recently and dealt with that madness? No way in hell I’d ever pay over msrp like that. Lol

Where and with who did y’all do the range portion? I did the paperwork and applied before any approvals, but got busy and stalled out when I saw no one was approved for teaching/testing for the range portion.

Sadly, I don’t think this will end up being a good thing. I think the government mass killing protesters is more likely than regime change. Even if the got Xi to step down I think another commie despot would takeover and it’d be more of the same. Fingers crossed 🤞 I’m wrong though, and some good comes from these protests.

Maybe the real posting of garand thumb was the friends we made along the way.

Had not heard of it until you posted.  Seems interesting.  For that price, I'd lean toward an Aimpoint ACRO P2.  That is if you can find one in stock.  I've seen them come back into stock here and there in the past month.  I believe the Sig full frame slides have plates for the ACRO.  I was considering one for my X-Full slide.  Beyond that, I am looking to get an EPS (regular) for a Glock 17.  Hope they start coming back into stock soon.

That’s what I originally wanted lol, but like you said they’re not available anywhere. So I figured I might try the Sig branded one the footprint is right so I wouldn’t need to buy a mounting plate. Not 100% sure for now but probably gonna get one before the end of the month, so I’ll have to see if the ACRO becomes available by then.

Anyone try the Sig Romeo2? Picking up a legion x five next week and leaning towards that for optic as I also wanna try a closed emitter.

Literally just called 911 because some kids were trashing a car on the street got a video of their car speeding away showed them the video, they took my name and number said they didn’t need a copy of the video and that’s it. I can’t say for 100% sure they won’t go after them or investigate it but seems like it. I’m hopeful they knew who it was and will catch them, but the vibe I got was they’re just going to let it go. It was a nice newer Acura SUV too.

I applied today. I asked if they had gotten lots of applications, and the guy said no. Then he went on to say they’re not allowed to say it’s a waste of time before explaining to me it’s a waste of time. Lol so I’m not going to get my hopes up too high 🙄

I may seem mean to say this but ainokea.

All you Neueww Yawkers who want to have a total ban on guns, if a nuke ever hits your messed up city, you are gonna wish you had one.  Provided you survive the blast, of course.

Good luck in your "preparations".

Meh 🫤 honestly, I don’t think it really matters how many guns you have or don’t have in a nuclear blast. If New York is the actual target with modern day nukes, pretty sure everyone even close to the city will be insta-killed.
🤔 of course I’m probably not any better off than them considering I can see Pearl Harbor from my building lol I’m also gonna be a insta casualty
