Reloading / Re: Read My Primers Please

Are you measuring the FPS or just looking at primers. What is the ideal shoulder length you are looking for? I can tell you from experience military cases respond differently than commercial brass.

Whole foods also carries it in their soap etc side of the store. Iirc it was slightly more expensive than ordering on Amazon but a small bottle goes a long way.

Has anybody on here finished an 80% lower and actually followed hawaii state law and registered it? If so how receptive was HPD on the registration process?

The bill is stupid. The first two sections of the bill are on fire arms. The rest of the bill is mental heath which has nothing to do with fire arms.

I just use water from the garden home to tumble my brass. Plus dawn dish soap and a pinch of lemi shine. Never had a pink batch yet.

I have the 650 which I got from WGS. Haven't loaded anything yet. I'm just finishing setting up my loading bench. I will admit the 650 was expensive to set up all the extra tool heads for calliber changes. But from what I see just setting it up I like the quality and the customer service.

I ordered just the barrel and bolt from SBR. I have the rest of the parts. It uses the same projectile as the 45-70.

I've got a barrel and bolt on the way. My intention is for hunting as well. I just wanted to talk to others here on island that shoot it. I know people on island use it. WGS carries it and Henry says he sells quite a bit of it.
