General Discussion / Re: Kokohead shooting complex
« on: September 23, 2023, 03:24:29 PM »
How’s the wait at kokohead? I totally forgot you have to make a reservation and I like go tomorrow but it’s completely booked from the morning. If I show up without a reservation what are the chances I can get a table at 9am?

Registration gets booked quick which opens online 5 days before the day you’ll actually shoot.  When I tried to reserve, it gets booked within two days.  I want to go shooting bad but there’s nowhere to unless you pay an arm and a leg.  I also contacted DLNR to maybe open up an area for hunters and the public to shoot and supposedly they are working on
something.  I’d love to see that happen.

General Discussion / Re: Oahu's only shooting range closed indefinitely

I’m bringing this up from another forum I read.  I have the idea of shooting on public hunting land since I’m a hunting license owner (Read hawaii hunting license yourself if you need to).  Moreover, other states are free to shoot on federal public lands!!!  Are we part of America or what?? ? There are no restrictions saying we can’t do it!  Safety is paramount and I stress again safety is paramount so please shoot at a legitimate berm, do not shoot by trails and the list goes on (Military brain kicking at my time at the range).  Again, this is an idea, something i’d like to bring up to state officials with more concrete evidence but I also wanted to get the 2a community’s feedback.  Let me know.

Howzit,

I’m a husband father that get his wisdom from our lord Jesus Christ.  I’m from Waipahu and I love hawaii.  A fellow service member in the armed forces and I would love to see hawaii and our younger generation become patriots.  I like reading about war history and I see that our nation needs to be tougher for the sake of our country’s protection.  I love the 2a community and it’s the most passionate aspect in my interest in politics. I am also a country boy at heart and I love hunting.  My family owns a farm here in Hawaii and I feel like it’s the last piece of God’s country on earth.  Lastly, God loves you whoever is reading this and turn away from the ways if the world!

Health, Fitness, and First Aid / Rifle Cardio
« on: October 28, 2022, 09:10:02 PM »

Get comfortable with your rifle and work on your cardio.  This is a good workout for a someone that doesn’t have a lot of time (Almost Every working adult in Hawaii).  I’m tired of seeing gun enthusiast who waste there time on equipment but don’t bother to run or workout.  I understand we don’t have time and whatever but start thinking like a minuteman or infantryman if you really bleed red, white and blue.  You are a liability if physical fitness is not at the forefront of your values as a man and an instinctive protector. It also doesn’t make sense that most of the post in the health and fitness section is not physical fitness related.  So, I hope to spark some insight in some of you to be a true patriot and I hope I don’t come off as too rash to our 2a community in my home state.  Hawaii needs more minutemen!!!
