Ambi-Everything is pretty slick. Kinda scary when he pushed the charging handle right through to the other side without any dis-assembly (~2:00 into the demo vid). Push button switch to change ejection from left to right is crazy. For a household that has both left & right handed shooters, this could be a great range toy.

but, does anyone need three different buttons to eject a magazine.   ???  ;)

« on: May 02, 2013, 04:15:57 PM »
Am I the only one who can count to seven?  That wasn't a 1911.

New York law states you can only load 7 legally, even in your 10 round magazines.   :wtf:

Awesome indeed.  Any particular Representative or C&C chief we can thank for this?

... oh, but does this mean we now need to come at 3am now instead of 4am to get a rifle bench?

Sorry for late response. But here was failure error I got when doing so.

"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     admin@2ahawaii.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain 2ahawaii.com by 2ahawaii.com. [198.252.98.50].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 Unrouteable address"

Oneye, can you send me the email with the PM that was sent to you. Just reply and send and it should come to me.
Thanks everyone for your help.

FYI, I think this is part of the server move, but I'm still trying to verify.

fyi:

A PM sent to me around 11.15pm last night is non-existent as of this morning. I click link to it and its not there.

A post I placed last night around 8pm also is no longer there. In For sale, tools accessories area.

Changes I made to existing for sale post of mine in Firearms were undone as of this morning. I have since edited that post, but in a different manner if that helps.

Hows the individual traders market at these shows. Can you bring in a small enough to carry collection of stuff to sell/trade without getting a table? Any special process at door if so?

Do any of the vendors take trades? I assume since there will be FFL dealers there, can they take a pistol off me that day? Long guns I assume is same day to anyone with a valid permit in hand or FFL?

Anyone with experience in doing so?

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find these locally. (Hopefully instock sometime this month?)

Having Fail to feed issues I need to address during break in on my son's 10/22. Seems all the lead nose & copper washed bulk ammo still gives us issues.

Wanted to try these and see how it goes.

Thanks for any leads!

General Discussion / Re: Kokohead range report 13JAN2013
« on: January 16, 2013, 09:38:08 PM »
I'm curious why we don't have a paid system, with short (30min-2hour?) reserved slots. If public golf courses do it, why wouldn't it work at Kokohead. I for one, don't mind dropping $5 (or more if it helped add features) to hit the silhouette side, i'm sure most wouldn't bat an eye to do the same for an hour on the Target sides. I would assume some kind of limits on per person/per day for reservations, with open timeslots as first come first served afterwards.

..  but seriously, If we are going to grow the sport, and get more shooters involved, things will hopefully only get busier. We need to make this a more open and inviting experience for the newcomers & the regulars. Not a ...  wait for hours and hours just to get a seat thing. I mean, we already all did that at HPD to register ...  amirite?!

How quick did Xerox move out of their offices after the Uyesugi shootings?

I'm sure anyone involved in working/going to school at Newtown doesn't want to be anywhere near that place for awhile, if ever.

General Discussion / Re: shooting in california high school
« on: January 10, 2013, 03:18:37 PM »
They won't use this, except in passing, because the body count isn't high enough.  Not enough blood to prepare a proper dance floor.

I see them absolutely using this. Since a Teacher 'without a gun' talked down a 'troubled youth' instead of shooting him dead like the NRA would have them.

Media will potray any event they can to their benefit.

The 'right' side, needs to show that its the 'Mentally troubled' in the first place that is the problem in these school based instances, and push hard. Else they let the 'left' drive the conversations.

Do they ship to Hawaii? We're not even a shipping option at checkout

Yes, they do. Use another state, but make sure you put your correct Hawaii address and  Zip Code. I usually followup with a call or email to confirm with their customer service line, but it will get to you. And shipping has been the same for me.

X-ring Security & Firearms / Re: Kydex Back in Stock

For peeps like me who had no idea what Kydex is ...

(be forewarned, this is youtube so they usually talk to much on these how-to's, or have 'interesting' accents. But, fast forwarding through these will show some neat things that can be done with these things. Guess I have to make some time to actually find X-ring in the next few weeks if they still have some instock.)

« on: January 02, 2013, 07:43:02 PM »
Had an order placed with them as well, but no shipping confirmations yet, 3 days after ordering (I blame Firearmageddon), thought they did give order confirmations instantly from two different email sources.

BUT - Also got a confirmation just today from Brownells that they shipped out a backorder of black pmags placed on Christmas. YaY for non $PRICEGOUGE magazines.

btw, link to the arfcom post, just because it has the direct info on how to apply the coupons for AK & HI. See page 7 of it for details.

Nice Find. I was just about to get this for $84.99 from Midwayusa with free shipping. How's Botach as far as timeliness or customer service?
