Site issue
« on: March 13, 2013, 08:33:58 PM »
Aloha,

I was wondering if this site was experiencing any issues, or if there is a way to corrupt a profile.  I have logged in on my laptop while being logged in on my phone under my user name in the past.  Not sure if that can cause conflicts.  I am having issues with different site info displaying on my phone and on my laptop.  Example I receive and reply to a pm on my phone (4G), then go to the laptop(wifi) to verify my pm's and the original message is gone along with my reply.  Any ideas?  Thanks for your time.

Mahalo,

I also had my for sale thread disappear twice. And a bunch of my pm's disappeared as well.  Happened last night around 8 for me.

This thread only shows up on my phone.  On my laptop/work, this thread does not exist...

fyi:

A PM sent to me around 11.15pm last night is non-existent as of this morning. I click link to it and its not there.

A post I placed last night around 8pm also is no longer there. In For sale, tools accessories area.

Changes I made to existing for sale post of mine in Firearms were undone as of this morning. I have since edited that post, but in a different manner if that helps.

Oneye, can you send me the email with the PM that was sent to you. Just reply and send and it should come to me.
Thanks everyone for your help.

FYI, I think this is part of the server move, but I'm still trying to verify.

Looks like you're on it already, but just thought I'd report in.

I just had 2 threads in "general" and listed in my unread posts turn up a "The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you" error page.

When I went to "General Discussion" to verify that the threads existed and to report the names of them here... they weren't there. Apologies, but I had already closed the error windows and refreshed my unread posts page so I can't tell you which threads they were.

So far everything else has been working fine, though.

edit- the brain kicked in. One of them was a thread about HPD switching to Glock 17's

Just a quick update. I received confirmation that this issue is because of the server swtichover, so there was a period of time that was lost. Sorry about the problems and I'll update this if I get more info.

Sorry for late response. But here was failure error I got when doing so.

"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     admin@2ahawaii.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain 2ahawaii.com by 2ahawaii.com. [198.252.98.50].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 Unrouteable address"

Oneye, can you send me the email with the PM that was sent to you. Just reply and send and it should come to me.
Thanks everyone for your help.

FYI, I think this is part of the server move, but I'm still trying to verify.

Thanks oneye. Since they are still in the process of moving the server, there are still some bugs going on. I appreciate you trying.
