Would any of you people on the sign up list want to volunteer some time at the gun show this weekend. Duties would be to meet and greet interested people wanting to join or participate in the Hawaii Defense Foundation.? Lmk good way to be involved and support this important part of the range days we provide you.I'd like to help, but I'm already helping my friend at,his table.
If you can believe what you read on these forums some believe that Buffalo Bore is using 800x in their 220gr loads.Longshot is another one that is used a lot but I thought I was lucky just to find hp38 and n105.
I have never used n105 myself. But it appears to be a good choice for what you are trying to do based on some Google Foo I found.Bigger da bettah
Just curious, what made you decide to go with 220gr over the more common 200gr?
. I seen double tap or buffalo bore came out with a 220 load and the numbers were impressive so I figured try load um. I just didn't look to see if there were any load data before I bought those bullets.
Just curious...I have a glock 20 with a lone wolf ported 5.47" barrel. Eventually I would like to use it for hunting but for now plinking. I have to get my accuracy down a lot better before I take it out too hunt.
What kind gun?
What kind bbl?
For practical pistol matches?
My Lyman Cast Bullet Loading Manual and my Lee Modern Reloading Manual both have 200gr hard cast loading information. You could take this and start 10% less than the starting loads for the 200gr and that should work for you as a starting point. If you want the load info PM me your e-mail address and I will send you copies of the pages.Thank you for the info on castboolits website, I'll check them out. I have the lee manual also Hornady's and Lyman's so I think I will go the 10% route. I Have cfe pistol,hp38 and n105. Will probably use n105.
Also, there is a pretty good website for lead called Cast Boolits on the gunloads.com forum. I cross check every load I use from their website against something similar like using a jacketed bullet. I did a search on their website. The results are here:

Let me know if you need any help with this. Do the bullets you bought have a gas check? What powders do you have available to you?
