i'm probably looking for a range/plinking gun, something you can take out and have fun with, i don't think i would use it as a hunting rifle, i prefer something with a bit more accuracy for that. i already have ar's in different calibers so its just one of those what should i buy next things. i appreciate all the information everyone has been sharing so i will be looking out for a decent ak, the wasr sounds good

thank you so much surf for the information, can you give me the names of a few ak's that won't break the bank, but will provide good bang for the buck?

from what i'm hearing the weakness in the ak's are the ability to mount optics vs the ar  platform which can take just about anything, the other worry is the construction of the upper, stamped steel vs a one piece aluminum upper. correct me if i'm wrong, i do not own an ak and would not mind purchasing one if there are solutions to what i see are potential problems.

anyone have any thoughts or experiences with an ar in 7.62 x 39? are there any manufactures out there that can produce an accurate and reliable weapon for this caliber without weaknesses of an ak, thanks.

hi guys trying something new here. i notice the lgs have this round for sale but all in steel cases, the price is not that bad but i was wondering what accuracy was like from the factory steel cased rounds. as usual its always more fun trying to tweek the best performance thru reloading, so the questions are who has the components, what is the load data and what can i expect compared to factory rounds. thanks in advance i know there's a wealth of knowledge out there

I saw a whole lot of six figure shotguns for sale on a recent trip to vegas, beautiful wood unreal etching came in a case that by itself would be worth some bucks also saw more lever guns and six shooters than you can imagine all in the five figures. I guess I'd want one of the shotguns and skip the down payment on a house or forget about buying a car lol

Hey lets be realistic, maybe I should rephrase the question and ask for your opinion regarding a gun that you could actually take to the range and shoot. A mini gun would be fun but I don't think I have enough ammo for even a short burst, so tell me about something that is useable thanks again

I guess the end result like anything else boils down to a matter of preference. That being said where is the best place to purchase a set of mechanix gloves?
