General Discussion / Re: Worst Guns Ever ....
« on: March 25, 2017, 08:02:51 PM »
Yeah, I saw a Kimber pop up in one of those items, too.   >:D

M14 was a good rifle in the role it was capable of fulfilling (replacement for the M1).  Unfortunately, it was being forced into service in roles it was not well suited for ....

I think it shouldn't be on the worst list though

The m14 shouldn't be on that list.
And they threw in random pictures of 1911s where they didn't belong haha

Read that this work for shorter shells including the mini.  Anyone ever tried it?

It might work, but then you could only use the minis until you took it out. Not sure if reg size shells will feed.  Everyone loves pumps actions because of their solid reliability. I think that the mini slugs compromise that

I think it would be pretty cool with those Aguila mini shells.   Supposedly you can fit 9 or 10 of them in there with an adapter.

I can fit a ton in my 500 w/ mag ext. they don't feed right in my 590, 500, 88, or 930. 1/2 the time they leave the tube and spin backwards, sideways, or catawampus. they're a bad ass concept though

But I do usually use my 30-30, which has a saftey feature where you have to squeeze the lever to pull the trigger. And a hammer saftey also

Off Topic / Re: minimum age to drive in Hawaii? Is that a law?

We need cars with smart ignitions and transmissions.  Without the right fingerprint, can't start the engine or shift gears!
My resume Tacoma is a 6spd. Most people can't drive stick, that's my smart transmission haha

Thank the police officers at the gun show providing the 24 hour security.  They are doing it as a volunteer service and do not get paid.
The more volunteering like that the better chances to move up in position
