Yes sir, We will have them on display at the show :shaka:
Would 22lr be strong enough to move targets on dueling tree?

General Discussion / Re: 80 percent in Hawaii
« on: March 06, 2017, 07:51:26 PM »
Of course, that's assuming the state laws don't require registration upon 81% or more completion.  In Hawaii, your use or disposition if it is irrelevant.  HPD still wants it registered.

This has been a public service announcement to ensure all law-abiding participants here are informed.  No one here intends to break any firearms laws.

Queue the GHOST GUN YouTube video ....
Can you show in state gun laws where it states this or is it just your interpretation of the law?

The whole point with the 80% is you don't need to register it as long as you don't sell it and it's for your personal use

The stores did not take any orders for March :(

So we will have a few "SOLO's" at the show :shaka:
Will you be making dueling trees?

Will you be bringing your products to the gun show? Looking to buy

You use the regular room/line for registration
There's a separate room/line by the snack bar for permits only

Was also told no credit cards for rapback payment any more

Just went the other day you can pay with a credit card in the original firearms registration office due to they fact they don't have a card reader in new room.. I must admit it was faster then standing in line in the other room..

It's so much more fun to have reactive targets to shoot.  For rimfire, I believe you can shoot steel plates at 50yds.   The sound you get from hitting steel is a good teaching tool for immediate feedback so he knows if he's on target after each shot.
Yea one of the R.O.s told me the same thing.. get him shooting good with the scope, then buy the self reseting one and turn it into a contest

For Rimfire, I like the Nikon series.  Been better for me than Bushnell for some reason.  Bushnell seems to develop problems.

The couple I have are in the Prostaff 3-9x40 BDC 150 family.  This one looks good:

Here is the Nikon site for Rimfire scopes:

Don't get one that has super powerful magnification.  The closer you zoom, the more the image bounces around.

You also will normally have to buy the rings separate.  Each rifle mounts a little differently, and you might need higher or lower ring height based on your application, iron sights, bolt action clearance, and so on.

As for local sources and installation, either call around, or others here will have suggestions.

Good luck!
Of course when you want to buy it's on back order lol

Dont know how much that rifle cost but with scopes it is what you pay for.
I can help with the install - no members fee.
Scopes aren't going to make anyone "more accurate" it will add some interest and may make it less frustrating if youre struggling with irons. The wobble will still be there just magnified with everything else. Fundamentals are the same. Focus hard on the reticle before breaking the shot. etc.

Been using a Vortex Viper PST 1-4. Got it for around 380
I might have to take you up on the offer.. just trying to get my son hooked on shooting he's getting frustrated with irons.. it's hit or miss with him.

Can any recommend a scope for a ruger American rim fire. It's to teach my son how to shoot so I'm looking for something cheaper than the gun

Took my son to the range today for the first time and he had a blast shooting my ruger 10/22.. since the 10/22 is a little too long for him I was thinking about buying him a youth rifle. Anyone have  suggestions on his first rifle?
