Dumb question time... there are a few time slots still showing available on the site, however it says that online enrollment is closed.
This specific time in the picture is for Wednesday 6/10 @ 3pm on the rifle side (at the time of this post 5 days away).

What's up with this????

it did work better on google chrome
some stuff didn't work on my desk top bc i don't have chrome on that
kind of not very user friendly on my phone either, but i made it work
who the hell makes an app only for google chrome???

I'll put my tin foil hat on for a moment and share that Google Chrome tracks you better than other browsers like Firefox.
Just a quick theory though... (tinfoil hat off)

Guess I need to buy a .458 SOCOM upper.  :D
So do I, you know to keep up appearances. And it would be fun to shoot!

That's beautiful, with all the hype people have put on 3d printers and manufacturing firearms, I never really thought about the use for printing mags. And in theory, you would only have to print the housing, because I know companies like magpul, etc. Make lots with the spring and follower to svc mags.

I figured I would use the smart ass defense  that I do not have any 30 round 556 mags. However, I do have 10round 456 socom mags...

Not quite sure how the Man will take that logic though.

Reloading / Re: Are there any 50bmg reloaders on Oahu? I have a question.
« on: November 19, 2018, 07:57:18 PM »
Pump the brakes boys!  How does one shoot 50 BMG at KHSC?
If it's the older guy with the Barrett I'm thinking of. I've talked to him asking the EXACT same question.  He has a .100" spacer in the chamber and the 50BMG cartridge is resized and trimmed down to a .510 DTC (A European compliant work around for a 50BMG ban). It's technically not a 50BMG but fires the exact same round with just a little less powder.  The best part is if he wants to, he can remove the spacer and it's chambered in 50BMG again...

Reloading / Re: Where else to get bullets?

This is where I usually get my 55gr 223. I have tried the 223 hpbt they offer and they seemed decent.

This story goes a lot deeper.  From what I’m hearing on the Windward side,  this might have been a shake down and trying to extort money.  Maybe Nalo Mafia sh!t... The guy that got stabbed, tried to hold up a gambling house in town last month.  Security guy took him down.  Plus he had a loaded pistol with 15 rounds.

Here’s that article...

15? That's a lot of bullets, there should be a law...

All good points.
I wonder how the founding fathers dealt with this.
Surely they had these types in society
Those laws taking 2nd Amendment and voting rights were old "Jim Crowe Laws" to keep black men from having rights.

All they had to do is arrest and convict on anything, now the guy is a felon and can no longer vote, no longer own any firearm. "The Man" is still using those laws to this day to keep people down...

(d)   Except in park areas specifically designated for such purposes, it is unlawful for any person to:
(1)   Throw, cast, roll or strike any bowling ball or golf ball;
(2)   Engage in model airplane flying;
(3)   Engage in model boat sailing;
(4)   Kindle, build or maintain any campfire;
(5)   Discharge firearms for target practice only;
(6)   Engage in archery for target practice and tournament only;
(7)   Launch model rockets.

Interesting, they have a class for archery at the park on Renton road(old mill) in Ewa. My daughter took it for summer fun years ago. We just saw kids practicing there the other day and my daughter noted how they were facing the road because of football practice, and I heard from the back seat her sarcastic pidgeon "Ho Cuz,  you need to know what lies beyond your target... Sorry Uncle about your car"(They were facing Kapolei Parkway).

Firearms and Accessories / Re: 80% lower jig rental
« on: November 18, 2017, 09:28:30 PM »
I don't want to sound like a "Debby Downer", but be careful about borrowing equipment to build 80%'s the BATF has come out and updated laws(2015-1) covering renting locations and equipment. It was brought about to shut down machine shops in other states that would set up the tooling and make it idiot proof, and then the guy that actually bought the 80% pushed the start button so they can say they built their own and only rented/borrowed equipment... (see page 5 &6 on attached pictures)
The ATF  has ruled it as manufacturing, not to say borrowing your friend's drill press is going to set them off with their autistic screaming, but it would be documented on an online forum. No one needs that kind of grief...

Might I suggest offering to buy/purchase required tools/fixtures for a set price, then sell them back for a loss, with receipts. :)

Technically in order to do so legally, he would have to be in TX, mail them to his address here, and then hop on the plane and be back at that address by the time they arrived, correct? All of my guns are insured but I still wouldn't want to mail most of them, especially through USPS.
I believe he doesn't have to beat the package to his new address, but he is the ONLY person allowed to open the boxes. So who ever signs for them has to leave them sealed until he arrives.
But don't quote me on that, I only have pretend internet law degree...

Even if you still had your original permit, if you brought in a firearm to register, they will make you pay the $42.00 for Rapback.

Thanks everyone for putting up with my NEWBIE RSO screwups!  Promise to suck less next time.
Thanks for doing it John, You did fine! On Sat Louis had warned me I might ave to be OIC. And then Sun Morn when Todd had car trouble Jerry was telling me I was going to have to be RSO... For a moment or 2 I was cringing the thought of having to do it for the 1st time(then you really would have seen some suckage...), but then you and Jack stepped up and saved the day! Thanks again!
