used regular florescent paper $8 for 500 and cheap clear packing tape $2.. had extra spray paint.... taping and spraying was fast and easy...

if you have time and enjoy making stuff this is the way to go...

let me try and spray over it on the next range visit...

I was bored so I tried making a shoot n see target... actually it came out pretty good...

Wow, that's an excellent shotgun pattern.
Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

I concur...one should be started before the thread drifts too much..

So cheap, I re-use foamies from the past 2 range trips  :wtf:

I left my ear pro in the hotel on TD#1 for the Chris Costa class. I was able to find some muddy ass ear plugs... rinse them off and off we went.

I've gotten cheaper since the original posting. I now cut the 8 x 11 sheet into 4 separate 4x6 targets. No sense waste an entire sheet. If you cant get a shot on a 4x6 card at 25-50 yards, it ain't worth seeing.

Where do you buy the dirty bird packs of 100 for like 62 bucks (shipping included)?

Either way, it seems cheaper just to buy them rather then taking the time and effort to go down to a office supply store (wouldn't be so bad if traffic here wasn't such a bitch to get through, we have the second worst traffic in the nation!  Gas costing damn near 5 bucks now adays has gotta be taken into account if your trying to save money),  tape up the card stock (which seems like its gonna cost $, I'm sure they are not giving it away or the tape), fight more traffic to get to home depot or where ever sells spray paint, buy a few cans, then get gloves so your fingers don't get paint on them and then spray paint a few layers on to the laminated paper.  Forgot to mention that you still have to buy or make the target which is more $ and time.

Next time you're at walmart you can find all the supplies there. I used yellow construction paper, clear packing tape and black paint. Simple and you can make alot of them. If not walmart then longs or I believe pricebusters has all the supplies..

Thanks for the useful post Farnocker.

Like Dirsh said. You can make your whole target stand shoot and see for cheap.
Might help me with zeroing new scopes and sights.
