You know how they had to lobotomize AI in order to keep it from saying taboo things?

They did the same to us when we were growing up.
Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

I heard they lobotomized the kids who couldn't learn self-control like the rest of us,
but i always thought it was a lie to get us to try harder.

Thanks for clearing that up!    :geekdanc:

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

You too.

Honestly I think stuff like interest rates is a bit of a distraction.
It’s like the stock market that’s completely decoupled from reality.
Everything is run by algorithms and central planning, a sort of game show where people gamble with their life savings..
This past week there were some significant creaking and popping noises coming from the machine.
It sounds like we are much closer to the edge than most people realize.
A lot of good little boys and girls are about to find out the true cost of blind obedience.
They made the mistake of thinking that the system cares about them.
Yeah, about as much as a factory farm cares about its cows.

"An investment operation is one which, upon thorough analysis, promises safety of principal and an adequate return. Operations not meeting these requirements are speculative." — Ben Graham

By this definition, which most fiduciary investment managers agree on, markets - particularly equity markets - have not been “investable” for the last 10 years or so, as they are bubbles propped up by endless money printing, debt, and artificially low interest rates.

You are 100% correct.

The equity bubble is so huge that the total market capitalization of the U.S. stock market is TWICE that of the entire economy as a whole:
