Can kids shoot 22 magnum? Idk what the recoil is though but imma assume its more than 22lr. Idk the price on that ammo either, locally.

Last I checked before all the recent ammo craziness, .22WMR (Magnum) was pretty pricey compared to .22LR. 

Brownell's lists CCI MINI-MAG .22LR at 100 rds for $14.99.

The cheapest .22WMR on their site is CCI MAXI-MAG 50 rds for $13.99.

That's 15 cents/rd for .22LR, and 28 cents/rd for .22WMR -- almost twice the price.

Prices listed have not been adjusted for current market conditions.   

It has to be serialized before u posess it. Or u will be breaking the law.

Not according to the text of the law. It just says you can't purchase it for the purpose of creating a firearm without a serial number.

Regardless, I would serialize the thing as soon as I get it and register it appropriately so it wouldn't be an issue.

Moral of the story:   Get a Ruger or a Savage complete and go have fun with the kids.
                                If they’re like my kids, they’ll love working the bolt.
                                The gun will be more accurate than them.
                                And get a scope with an adjustable objective.

I did come across a couple of the high end ones but not that cheaper brand.  Even the cheap ones are pricey though. Yeah, I guess I am just going to resort to getting inexpensive complete guns.

You keep piling up the mistakes.

You can't have a "gunsmith" help you with your firearm.

The law allows YOU to build a firearm for YOURSELF.  In order to build a firearm for someone else (to any degree), you need an FFL license that designates you as a manufacturer.  That's the reason so many "clubs" and "machine shop loaners" were raided by the ATF.  They were helping people complete 80% lowers, or setting up the machines so the owner just had to press the start key/button.

You have to build it yourself for yourself, or get a properly licensed manufacturer to do it/assist.  If your intent is to build the gun for someone else, it may be a federal crime.

Not trying to argue. But i read that as long as the person is there you l, who is gonna keep the p80, you can have others help you.

Example: i am gonna do a p80. I dont have the necessary equipment like a drill press or dremel. I can go to my friends house and do it there but he can work the machine. Of course, i also have to be doing something. Not just sitting down. I think it was something along the lines "beyond the necessary tools" . Something like that.

Ive never built a p80, i sold my 2 untouched kits. I felt lazy and seemed like a hassle. But i did watch alot of vids on making it as well as trouble shooting it.

Touche. As I read the law I would be in the clear but I wouldn't be thrilled to be the test case either!

Friggin’ good fun to shoot though and both are still affordable compared to rifle rounds.
22WMR has slightly more kick and 17HMR is louder.
Both pretty much laser beams at 50 yds.
RSO’s let my kids shoot em both as long as I did my supervision part.

When I bought some good stuff it seemed as expensive as 9mm.
I was very interested in the Keltec rifle that shoots 22 mag but cant work myself up to buy it at that price. Maybe if I could buy a case of 1000 or something!

Out of a rifle barrel it is no slouch either. Ballistics not far off the 5-7 round
