Lever actions are designed for rimmed cartridges.

But this came out recently.

I’ll stick with my AR9. Though the Tombstone seems like a run gun. Recoil would be super mild.

Yeah... nope
That thing loses all the sleekness of a nice leveraction. Looks like Frankenstein's monster.

When it comes to lever guns (PCC style ‘73s), the Italian imports out of the factory need work. For the price they go for, you’d think they would be better. A good cowboy action smith can smooth them up and make them acceptable. Of course that will jack up the price further.  A Miroku/Winchester is a much better choice for a quality PCC lever out of the factory.

Not much experience with locking lug lever’s suitable for lager rifle calibers. They, naturally, will not be able to run as quickly as a toggle lock PCC.

The drop on the stock looks too low. Wonder how it shoulders?

In cold freezing weather they work.
If they freeze up your strength can break
the ice.
Most guys here haven't lived in those extremes.
Only reason I can think of.
I prefer AK for the same reason.
Always works regardless of  environment, or filth.

Probably better than the traditional AR platform. AR sighting is forced into a hunched position, this isn't. It's why we are seeing such a rise (no pun intended) on optics risers

Now depending on how this BS brace ban goes, this is the perfect contender for Hawaii and its BS pistol ban. Bolt action....

Get a caliber Hawaii or mainland Democrats can't control.
It assures you can always get ammo,
without having to load it yourself.
Try to find primers these days.
My choice was 7.62X39. & 7.62X51 for rifles.

I was going to buy a marlin 1895 SBL until I saw the price the LGS was asking, $2699. Crazy part is it sold fast anyway.
