they are selling to .gov and .mil...

Manufacturers would have to sell it domestically as wages still have to be paid while supplies and equipment cost money when they sit idle.

"in my opinion"...

They have to weather the storm and hope the 90 days doesnt get extended.

Gov is using 90 cause no one will sue due to the time it gets to court, almost pau.

Ho man.  Our government sure must've given a sh*tload of ammo to Ukraine.  Now they panicking because they now have to support Israel.

Ukraine kinda pisses me off because they seem like they only got their hand out for everything.  Even Israel.  Their war with Hamas is barely a month long and the US wants to shower them with support with everything from munitions to logistics.

WTF?  What were they doing all this time?  Stockpile your own f*ckn ammo, dammit.  You know you are surrounded by people who want to kill you.

Makes you wonder about the legitimacy of all this crap. :grrr:

Just out of curiosity I checked prices online on the two popular calibers.

9mm hasn't changed much.  Still about $300 per 1K.  Some brands even advertised a lower price than last week.  About $10-$20 cheaper per case.

5.56/.223 is a different story.  From mid $500 per case it's close to $600 now.  And many brands are over $600.  That's compared to last week prices.

I check the ammo prices daily (yeah, retirement life) and found that 9mm actually is stable and some deals (Black Friday and Cyber deals) are pretty good for case lots.

5.56/223 is getting expensive.  Some Black Friday and Cyber deals had them in the low $500/cs which in my opinion is not bad considering.

These are on-line prices.

I think if you really need some, buy now.

For the new gun buyers, you might want to buy some now.  Don't go crazy.  Just buy some so you have some on hand. :shaka:
