Interesting read.

About CCW being a priviledge, but 2nd Amendment being a right.

Denying both open carry and concealed carry is an infringement of the 2nd amendment. You can't agree with "keep arms" and then claim "bear arms" mean nothing. You don't interpret it whichever way you want it to read. You don't choose what part of the consitution applies and doesn't apply. It all applies. You read it for what it says.

So, Mr Troll feels that since the 2A is  privilege, Only Certain Annoited people can carry guns?

   Like Him?

What i really feel is that there should be no CCW in Hawaii.

I suppose that Women and old people are Not in this category and thus are regulated to being easy victims?

um not u, grandpa, or mary Jane.  NO CCW period...

He is also NOT a Liberetarian in thinking.  If he were, a nuclear weapon would be allowed as long as it is used in a responsible manner and the
the user accepts full Responsibility for damages caused by it.  (Book, "The Probability Broach", by L. Neil Smith)

Since he feels that government is "supreme",  he should READ this book:    http://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/NOTE1.HTM
   written by a UH professor.

The military may seem to have power but individuals still can win, look at Iraq and Afghanistan.  Ever since the days of Alexander, No One has effectively been able to
tame that piece of the world.  Not Breat Britian, not Russia and certainly not the US.

Dude u need some help!!

And just what kind of weapons are the Afghan "insurgents" using?  Pretty much the same stuff we have here except for RPGs(more or less).

Last i checked Hawaii was not Iraq so you do not make any sense.  Sorry Bro

Jesus christ, I hope this guy doesn't become a cop. We don't need more high school flunkies on the police force because someone got tired of doing construction. I would not depend on this guy in a life threatening situation. That's why we need CCW.

Please do not feed the trolls. Obviously this guy is not capable of constructive, intelligent debate. Funtimes and others, I appreciate your effort to educate him but I highly doubt he will do any of the recommended research. He's probably busy buying up all the Defend Hawaii clothes he can with his allowance.

Just ignore him, people. Eventually trolls die off when they don't get enough attention. Let's save our energy for debates with people over the age of 14. Thank you.

I have locked this topic.  Obviously, Defend does not have any fact to prove his point, and further more, his retorts are designed to inflame members.  Also, his use of racial stereotypes is not in good taste, and not what this website is about.

Just so others understand, this site is about open discussion, but this thread has moved beyond that. Obviously "Defend Hawaii" doesn't have any logical arguments to present as he hasn't presented any yet.

Defend Hawaii, I hope you can open your mind as you get older and grow. Just read some of the posts from the members here and you can learn a lot. If you have some logical (as opposed to emotional) arguments against CCW, I gladly welcome that discussion.
