NRA BASIC PISTOL FIREARMS CLASS

Thank you, for taking interest in the NRA Basic Pistol Course at the Royal Hawaiian Shooting Club.

This course complies with the Hawaii State law that requires handgun purchasers to attend a firearm safety course, taught by a NRA certified pistol instructor.  This course includes training in the fundamentals of handgun safety, practical hands-on training, a live fire shooting session, and information regarding Hawaii’s firearm laws.

The NRA class fee of $180 includes course materials, range and handgun use, ammunition.


Requirements for Class:

1.   Must be at least 21 years of age
2.   Valid Photo ID:  Driver’s license, State ID, Military ID
3.   Shoes
4.   Small note pad & pen

When:        January 22, 2011 and February 22, 2011
Time:      10am-5pm
Where:   Royal Hawaiian Shooting Club, Building A- 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center
Cost:   $180
Payment:   Cash, Credit Card (We do not accept checks)   
   Payment will be collected before class

There will be refreshments & snacks provided for you


IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ

Please fill out the (3) forms & return them via mail or fax by Friday, January 21, 2011.
The class will start promptly at 10:00am.  Anyone late will not be able to enroll in the class.  It is highly advised that you arrive at 9:30am to process payment and other paperwork, prior to class starting.
For Parking, we are currently trying to work a deal with the shopping center to allow our students to pay a flat rate to park in the center.  We will be contacting everyone once we find out the price of parking.

off topic but.....

can u bring your own guns to the range?  your website lacks info in this area.  I doubt anyone here is interested in packaged and tethered shooting

Currently, we do not allow outside firearms into our facility. We are currently investigating this in the future. Please contact Nicholas for more information regarding this topic.

Is the course taught over 2 days, or is it offered in it's entirity on both listed dates?

Each day listed is a complete course.  We try to offer the course at least once a month. We also offer an introductory to the course, which is about 2 hours long for those who are possibly interested but still are not 100%.
