AK Stuff
« on: July 29, 2013, 09:04:43 AM »
Just got a interesting call from my friend who does AK stuff in the Mainland.

He told me all his friends who are importers are seeing their inventory being bought up by the DHS,

This also includes 762x39 ammo.

WTF is our government doing?

^^^They are using up their budget.  Fiscal closes in September(?).  Anything not used this year will most likely be cut from next year's budget.

I looked on Gunbroker.  AK prices seem calm.  I read a report online at Ammoland.com 2 weeks ago that tis was going to happen.  The purchases went on last week.

Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Keep in mind that President Obama is on the record saying, “AK-47s belong in the hands of soldiers, not in the hands of criminals; that they belong on the battlefield of war, not on the streets of our cities.”

Having said that, the GAO, in support of the Army, has requested bids for 7.62x39mm ammo:

7.62x39 BALL, 7.62x39 BLANK and 9x18mm BALL Non-Standard Ammunition.

Quote
1. 2,000,000 each 7.62x39mm Ball, delivered to Camp Stanley in Boerne, TX
2. 550,000 each 7.62x39mm Ball, delivered to Blue Grass Army Depot
3. 575,000 each 7.62x39mm Blank, delivered to Blue Grass Army Depot
4. 425,000 each 9x18mm Ball, delivered to Blue Grass Army Depot

That's 2.5 Million rounds of live AK ammo.

When only cops have guns, it's called a "police state".

Sell it to the drug guys south of the border so they can track it only to have it end up killing some of our own guys?

Speaking of which. Many more Americans have died from FnF guns
And the govt and media is covering it up.

I feel sick that we have govt that just lies to us blatantly daily.

WTH does DHS need with AK stuff?

The government realizes that they will never win at banning guns, they know this.  So the only way to neutralize the gun is to remove the component that renders the gun inoperable...... the ammunition.  No ammo = paperweight = no resistance when they come for your guns.
