What I mean is, I am sure they check, ok, but do we have to make an appointment to chat with the doctor for every time?

No. They send paperwork to your doctor/medical provider to return if they have any issues/concerns with you.  If hpd doesn't get anything back your good to go.

So just to be sure I do not make a Boo Boo on the wrong dates:

If I book time off-work on August 12 (Monday) to go start permits, then I take off-work and pick on on 26th August (14 days later) right? (those off days work for me best).
