I'm currently in search of a rifle that is not found on the island (currently) and over priced on gunbroker or any other site, but I've manage to find a site that has it in stock. But unfortunately not sure how legit it is since none of my friends have used that site. It's a site called Knesekguns from KGI Global Distribution and they do send to 50 states. I just want to know if they are decent enough to trust.  Or warnings ordering from them. Any info will be fine.

You should ask the local gun shops if they can get it in for you, that would guarantee you would get it.

Ok, I'll ask a couple more shops since there are more on the island now, but I still want to know if anyone has used the site I mentioned. Or another decent website that sells firearms.

some have had good luck with calling first and checking for sure, but many more complaints than luck

Hi,  I don't have firsthand experience with this company, but I did locate some very bad stories from people who felt ripped off by them.  From what I can tell, they sometimes add extra charges and accept orders for class 3 firearms without ensuring they can legally sell it to you (simply asking if you understand the restrictions and are qualified would be enough).  Then they keep a 45% cancellation fee for stopping an order they should have never accepted.  A small part of the blame rests with the customer for not researching the restrictions before ordering, but the company failing to verify he understood is just bad customer service, especially when the customer risks losing almost half of a $1500 order.

They have a FB page with lots of satisfied customers posting pics, but they could also be deleting negative posts to avoid the truth.  Not saying they are deleting posts, but it happens.

In a nutshell:  if you get the rifle for the price you expected, then the company is legit.  If something goes wrong, good luck getting them to fix it!  You may wind up spending more money than buying locally!

Kingkenoki, Macsak, and Moosed thanks for the quick reply. From what I'm seeing I think I'll steer away from that company and look locally again for the rifle. I'm pretty much sure the AR10 Super SASS(the rifle I forgot to mention earlier)  is a legal, but hard find gun for me as of this moment.

Oh, then I guess this won't bother you too much, since I don't think it's the SASS model....

All the SASS rifles are hard to get.......Gunbroker is your best bet.

Yes Armalite.  Just found one on broker, but not sure if he will send it to HI.

If there is a will, there is a way, especially if its something you want.
Such as Call in and purchase over the phone.

Anywho everyone is there for the same reasons, so everyone is pretty cool about the parking situation.  That's no excuse to not buy local.
