Anyone cracking up like me over the state department havin a friggin meltdown about the recent chatter picked up by intell???  I mean come on....  Could they be any more fake? I mean as far as this contrived concern for security which is really about not making the Benghazi mistake again?  And showing Americans through the lens of the Banghazi controversy that "see......look how great we are at protecting our embassy's and consulates....Benghazi is just another republican witch hunt....."

It is not just about Benghazi either.  The perfect situation for them to reiterate how well the NSA spying stuff is protecting us.  See, all this chatter and we can avoid an attack!  Nice tidy little package.  The lack of any details concerns me.

yep! And another way to look at this, as intuitive evidence that they ARE recording our conversations, is the word 'chatter'. So they're saying, hey, we know about possible upcoming attacks cause we picked this up by monitoring chatter/voicecom over mobile networks.........BUUUUUT, the NSA is NOT monitoring chatter/voicecom of mobile networks!  You see the madness of these f'ing statists.  As if we are not going to catch that inconsistency.  I know. I know. They'll say that the recent chatter is picked up by the CIA monitoring overseas, not Americans, but the NSA thing....well that's about American comms, so that's different.  We don't monitor voicecoms in THAT case.   I can hear it now. Well they can sell it to someone who's buying.

San Francisco on high-alert after terror threat

The Department of Homeland Security is beefing up its presence at airports, train stations and other travel hubs in the United States in the wake of global travel warning imposed on all U.S. citizens.

Local authorities are not going into specifics but the San Francisco Police Department does acknowledge receiving a bulletin by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and DHS. The SFPD says their officers are monitoring various areas of the city and will determine if additional resources are necessary.

They say they have the ability to rapidly deploy and redeploy resources as the department deems necessary.

They have already said they are watching and no one really put up a fight about it.  I predict that within the next 6-8 months they will come right out and say exactly what we already know.......that they are and have been monitoring voicecoms.  By that time, everyone will have been conditioned to accept it.
