Can someone explain what if any connection exists between 2ahawaii and the TAPATALK developers? 
And team midori?  Are they the TAPATALK tech support people for TAPATALK who handle tech issues for 2ahawaii members who use TAPATALK?
And do I submit TAPATALK issues on 2ahawaiis tech support and issues forum?  Cause when I try to submit to TAPATALK I just get pointed towards the FAQ section on their website, which never seems to have anything relevant to my issues.

1. The 2ahawaii.com website is built on SMF forum software and has nothing to do with Tapatalk. SMF (Simple Machines) software is one of the most popular forum software around.  The functionality on the 2ahawaii.com site is based on the SMF software.  2ahawaii pays SMF to use its software and can expect a certain amount of tech support from SMF.

2. As a user of 2ahawaii which is a private website, you can expect a certain level of functionality on the site but also agree to its terms of use agreement. As a user, it is reasonable for you to expect certain things to work on the 2aHawaii site. When things are not working, you can bring it up to 2ahawaii and 2ahawaii can go to SMF and ask for support regarding their SMF software.

3. Tapatalk is the most popular forum client app on the Apple IOS platform.  It is meant for viewing forum sites built on  SMF as well as other forum software. SMF seems to recognize Tapatalk since anytime you go to an SMF website on an Apple IOS device, it tells you about the Tapatalk app.

4. As a paying user of Tapatalk, you can expect a certain amount of tech support from the makers of Tapatalk. This depends on their terms of use though which you agreed to when you purchased it from the Apple App Store.  Since Tapatalk is a 3rd party app that you purchased, you would talk to Tapatalk for any issues encountered using their software.

Ok. One thing you said explains why I thought 2ahawaii and tapatalk were affiliated or the same in one way.....because the app ad pops up when entering the 2ahawaii website....but guess not.
As far as tapatalk support, its not worth much.
There are two issues I have with tapatalk. On both my ipad4 and iphone3gs I get no sound when viewing video in tapatalk, but its fine when I launch a poster's vid in safari or chrome.
Second thing is that on my ipad4 alone I get a 'line' thru the text that appears in the center of the type in box. Always there as you scroll thru text. I posted a question about that and another user on an ipad2 said he gets the same thing.
I'll try tapatalk support again.

Hello.  I have had some probs with tapatalk before. Sometimes I can't login to 2ah for a couple days and then all of a sudden it works again. That's how I fix it. I jus wait til it works again.

But yeah, does tapatalk have email support?  All I find in the app is instructions to go to the FAQ page.

I've never been able to do it unless I switch to the browser view then log in within Tapatalk.

Click that little red arrow on the lower right.
Click the safari icon.
Log in as yourself.
Thn edit the thread as you normally would using a regular web browser.

... Funny, I just posted a thread in the Tapatalk text support for this very topic. I had the same problem, I was only able to edit the subject or title will be post if I did it with a browser - Safari or chrome or Internet explorer - but it cannot be done within the Tapatalk app. only the body of the text can be edited within the Tapatalk app. As always, the TAPATALK tech support is swift and thorough.....NOTTTTT!!  They have not responded yet

does tapatalk mark your threads read even though you don't open the forum?
i follow 2ahawaii and hkpro.com on tapatalk
lately, i have noticed when i open hkpro, threads that i have not read yet are marked as read
i am wondering if opening tapatalk loads the unread threads somehow, even though i am opening 2a and not hkpro
i deleted my hkpro account from tapatalk to see if it makes a difference
