LOL. He wants to ban knives and have some nameless government bureaucracy create kitchen utensils that serve the same function as knives w/out the ability to kill someone! This idiot obviously doesn't realize that any piece of hand held metal with a sharp edge can kill - just look at all the ingenious ways prisoners manufacture weapons from wieldable metal.

I guess he thinks 2X4s should be banned, too. I mean, I could easily beat someone to death with it, so I guess we should ban their use and/or manufacture in all construction. You like baseball? Tough luck. Baseball bats are potential lethal bludgeoning weapons.
