Be careful with the HK.  HK uses a higher rail and because of that their sights can sit lower on other rifles.

Other than that I don't care.  I'll use one or the other.

My first AR had Troy folding sights with the HK front.  I liked the way the circular HK front seemed to "fit" within the circle rear aperture.  Circle in a circle seemed intuitive to line up.  I've since gone to either FSP or DD fixed front sights, which is an A2-like style) and they are fine.  I think it's just what you get used to seeing.

That's only with the micro version of the Troy sights.  The Troy standard sights are the same height/plane as the F-marked FSP.

I like the HK front as well for the same reasons mentioned (besides, they look better to me).

When utilizing magnified optics, the Troy Folding Battle Sights are hard to beat IMHO.

When using red dots however, I also tend to like the FSB or DD's fixed front and rear sights.

I like the Ar sight because you can adjust the elevation of the post.

You can adjust the post for the Troy HK-style front sight for elevation, same as the A2 sight.

Thanks good to know...But is it harder to adjust, since the post is enclosed in a circle, instead of top open like da A2?

You're thinking of the loop front sight like on the MP5. The Troy HK-style is open on top, just the "wings" are rounded to resemble the HK loop front sight.  Same tool and adjustment as the A2.

You're asking about this one, right?

Yeah. Haha.

Darmok posted the pic.

It's Troy's version on the HK style.  I've shot a 91, 93 and MP5 and they are fun guns to shoot, but I could never afford to own and shoot them. My first handgun was/is an HK, but I doubt I'll buy another. Maybe an HK45, but not any time soon.

I prefer the HK style over the original A2s as well.  I don't have troy sights on my gun though, I cheaped out and bought the Magpul mbus instead.  Those are more HK styled as well though.
