« on: September 02, 2013, 09:39:41 PM »
Hey guys,

i was just wondering what the process would be when someone is moving to hawaii and bringing in firearms.  Does it make a difference if person is military? incoming police? or plain civilian?

thanks in advance

The law has been modified (Espero's background check bill); part of the suggestions that I made, which were adopted, was increasing the time limit to five days.  This allows people who come in on a 3 day weekend sufficient time to register a firearm without running in violation of the law.
