For most carriers, you wouldn't lose the whole $700, just most of it!

UPS covers a loss up to $100 unless you declare a higher value and pay for insurance.  If you opt not to get insurance and the package is lost or stolen, you're out $600 if using UPS.

Just pay the extra for insurance. That's what it's there for, just in case shit does get lost or stolen.

I've sold a lot of expensive stuff on ebay and I usually include the insurance in the shipping charges.  USPS has never lost my stuff (knock wood) but the peace of mind is worth the few extra bucks in my opinion.  The few times where I've offered the customer the insurance option and they've turned it down I was concerned about their package until they confirmed receipt.

 :wtf:

You seriously want to spend 700 dollars on a gun online and are too cheap to pay the 10 dollar insurance.

no i was just curious about it. didn't hesitate to pay the $10 insurance. i just bought an M&M M10 762K AK-47. fucking stoked. i can't wait. first AK, i was almost going to buy an AR kit in 7.62x39 but it would've ended up costing the same as this AK so i went with the AK.

I been selling on ebay since they started.  Shipping stuff out they have only damaged packages.  Never lost anyhting.

BUYING is another story. I have lost 3 packages that were sent to me with tracking and 1 didnt have insurance and should have.  It was an expensive auto part.  I lost $$ on that because I didnt want to pay the $7.50 insurance.

shipping companies seem to always be fucking up. i was looking at buying from JG sales but shipping to hawaii through them is $75. ridiculous, and then on top of that x amount for insurance.

If you purchased your rifle on Arms List as the picture suggests, I would be more worried about the seller flat out scamming you, than your package being lost in the mail.   Arms list is infested with scammers .
