I was asking questions to the glockstore.com guy and he did not seem to be sure about glock gen 4's being allowed in Hawaii. Are they allowed?

Why wouldn't they be allowed?  I bought a Glock 22 gen4 locally with no issues.  Are you referring to the legality of magazines maybe?  If you are I cannot help you and there are tons of threads on this site in regards to that.

Yes Gen4 is sold in most gun shops here in Hawaii. Just that we have a hi-cap law. Only 10 round mags for hand guns.

Maybe you should ask the "glockstore.com guy" that told you Gen 4's might not be allowed here what he meant?

I have read that they can be brought into the CA as long as you were a resident of another state at the time of purchase. But I bought a couple of Gen 4 G21 and G19 from my LGS on the BI.
So you're good to go if you want to purchase from the Glockstore. I have heard horror stories about people placing orders 6 months ago and still have not received their merchandise.

This^ only in Cali are they banned fine here i thought in had something to do with the removable backstraps but maybe its the chamber. Most places in HI i think have them in stock by now i picked one up in may g19 gen 4 they had several to choose from.
