The Chinese Gun Club of Hawaii will be hosting a NRA 2700 Conventional Pistol 19-20 Oct 2013 at Koko Head Public Shooting Complex. This event is open to all US Military Personnel and Civilians. NRA and CMP Rules apply.
A Civilian Marksmanship Program Excellence in Competition (EIC) Pistol Match will be held on 20 Oct 2013 immediately following the NRA .45 cal Pistol Match. This is one of the only venues in the State of Hawaii that Shooters may compete for EIC medals and earn points toward Distinguished Pistol Shot Badge.
Per Army Regulation 350-66, Army personnel are limited to firing 2 of these non-Army sponsored events per year for pistol and rifle. No more than 14 points won during these matches for your military career are to be credited toward earning your Distinguished Badge.
Only Service Pistols 1911A1 with 230gr FMJ ammunition and Beretta M9 and M9A1Pistols with 115gr or 124gr FMJ Ammunition allowed.
The CMP EIC National Match Course of Fire;
Stage 1 (10-shots, slow fire at
50 yards),
Stage 2 (10-shots timed fire at 25 yards, 2 strings of 5 rounds, 20 seconds
per string),
Stage 3 (10-shots rapid fire at 25 yards, 2 strings of 5 rounds, 10
seconds per string).
