Gun Pile Challenge
« on: September 22, 2013, 08:35:09 AM »
OK I have been looking at all the various gun pics that people post.

So, allow me to propose the GUN PILE CHALLENGE.

Basically, for those of you guys who have tons and tons of guns, just put everything in a huge pile, and take a photo.

Put like a ruler or an iPhone or something so that we can see the scale.

Let's see who has the biggest pile!

It definitely won't be me.

(BTW I am assuming this is a fun idea; if somehow it might not be to post this online, feel free not to participate and maybe even we dispose of this whole idea).

Man I wish I hadn't lost all my guns in that horrible boating accident.
Your number one Option for Personal Security is a lifelong commitment to avoidance, deterrence, and de-escalation.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Hahaha ok yes, so maybe not such a good idea.

Anyway, it could have been fun.

You're welcome to throw all three of your guns into a pile and take a picture so we can all enjoy looking at them.  :geekdanc:

It would be interesting to see but I take great pains to not have my guns bang against each other, so a pile of them is out of the question.

I could spread them out but then I'd definitely need a wide angle lens!  Maybe google earth?

OP, since you started the post, you are obligated to post a pic of your gun pile.

Maybe just adding up the weights would be a better idea.  Rules?  With or without mags and accessories?  Including loading equipment?  Other?

Anyhow, being significantly (if not clinically) paranoid, I'd be reluctant to do that.  I have no doubt that somewhere some drone has been reviewing my five years' + of posts here and there and has accumulated a good idea of what I have, but to provide direct evidence...?  I don't think so.

Over the years I have acquired enough experience to develop that sub-clinical paranoia into what works for me.  Besides, most of the guns I used to have were lost in a similar  tragic boating accident near 51.21°N, 174.83°E.

Which, you will note, is unfortunately the deepest part of the Aleutian Trench:

KK,

I thought 1 .22lr survived.

If not I'll buy that 1 brick you have left.

Naw, it's okay--now I know where the greater part of my collection was tragically lost at sea....
