Anyone know what HPD's Active Shooter response is?

Does the first responding Officers go in after the BGs and minimize body count

OR  First Responders set up perimeter and wait for SWAT?

I would bet that the answer is secure the perimeter, observe and assess
Report to superiors and await reinforcements
Unless they are at risk or can easily see others at risk

Wait outside until the shooter runs out of rounds and then send in the SWAT team since no one was able to stop it since nobody can (legally) carry in this state. Everyone would do well to checkout GunsSaveLives.net. Almost 1000 documented stories of how violent crimes have been prevented or stopped because of a citizen carrying a handgun or being armed in the own home. Liberals can't fathom a gun being used for good. They cannot wrap their minds around it. I love reading those stories because they are documented reasons the throw at the face of a liberal when they tell you that more guns = more crime.

Then I tell them about the Harvard Law School study (yes, Harvard, that hallowed liberal stomping ground) that was published last month that showed a reverse correlation of what they expected when examining gun laws vs. crime, meaning the locations with more gun laws had more violent crime and the locations with less gun laws had less crime. Initiate head explosion sequence in 3...2...1....it's hysterical. "Does. Not. Compute. Guns. Are. Bad. Follow. The. Other. Sheep." They're like damn robots man. My favorite question to ask a liberal is this:

Me: "Your entire family is locked in a room with a convicted violent murderer and he is not restrained. He will kill them. You are allowed to give them one weapon to defend themselves with. You can choose a hammer, a baseball bat or a gun. What is your choice and why?"
Them: "Well, your example...I mean it's entirely unrealistic."
Me: "Yeah cause violent criminals never walk into people's homes while their families are sleeping. Keep living in a dream world, pal."

You see where it goes, the head explosion thing, the robot voice deal, etc.

HPD is a fine organization and I'm sure have solid plans for something as terrible as a mass shooting in this state.
