I went both days to the last show.  I was inside about 5 minutes after opening (10:05).  Drove in, parked, bought my ticket, and was inside the hall with no line outside to get in, just a short wait for the ticket -- less than 5 minutes.

There were lots of people inside already, but I found some good stuff all the same.  I discovered some sellers don't bring everything on the first day, so you might luck out and find a much-sought-after item on day #2.

YMMV

how about credit card usage?  i know square and intuit changed their policies regarding using them to purchase firearms and things.  I think there are only a few companies that are friendly to our kind.  Any ideas if we can use cc tomorrow?

cash is always king
bigger sellers may be setup for cc, but do you want to miss out on a good buy because the seller couldn't take cc?

Depends.  Most businesses there take major charge cards.  Most smaller businesses, collectors, and other private sellers deal in cash only.  There are usually ATMs available.

I used my CC for a pistol from YG, ammo cans from SEC, and cash for admission, parking, .22LR ammo, a Ruger 10/22 takedown rifle, and to join the HRA.

It's kind of like the swap meets.  Take both just in case.

The more popular sales will have a line waiting.  If you think you might want bulk ammo, ammo cans, or anything else bulky or heavy, bring a small hand truck or wagon for convenience!

The Blaisdell center does not allow the use of hand trucks or carts during the show--their rules, not the sponsoring club's rules.

Hmmmm.  Maybe they should have told the staff at the door.  I took a collapsible hand truck ($22 Magna Cart at Costco), as did many others I saw both days!  Nobody said a word.

I was told at the YG ammo table that they only accept cash.  That pretty much wiped out my wallet.  The rest of the day was window shopping.
