Backyard shooting

Anyone shoot wax, glue or plastic bullets with just a primer in their yard?   I don't mean you lucky ones on this forum who live up in the mountains.  I mean in Kaimuki, Manoa, etc.  Ever had any trouble with the police?   Is it louder than airsoft or a pellet gun?  I don't believe it is illegal, but I could be wrong here.   How about inside your house?

primer .22 out of a revolver is still louder than a pellet gun
out of a rifle it is more quiet, but idk how much more quiet it is.
I have a decible meter, and would be interesting to see just how loud it is vs the loudness of a car or construction work or an airgun.

i have thought about firing more quiet ammo in the yard, but thought it better to just shoot the pellet gun at home.
it would be real nice to just go in the back yard and shoot your firearm.

Shooting aguila colibri out my revolver sounds like a pneumatic nail gun and almost silent out of a rifle. The super colibri though Is much louder out of the revolver but still pretty quite from a rifle. Ill shoot in my back yard when my neighbors aren't home, but they've seen me shoot bb and airsoft guns most of my childhood n e ways  and never complained.

I think it's still considered discharge so wouldn't do it outside for sure especially if you can be seen.
