Help with my Cock
« on: October 21, 2013, 05:28:24 PM »
I just got a new Kidd Cocking assembly. It came with 3 springs, subsonic 10% lighter, High velocity 10% heavier, and standard. I currently have CCI mini-mags (high velocity), CCI Sub-Sonics, and some unknown brand that I threw away the box (500 rounds) as shown in the picture. Can anyone identify it? Anyways which spring am I supposed to go with? What happens if I put the high velocity spring in but use subsonic ammo or vice versus?

Google it cause every question is a dumb question.

Just place it in your hand , jerk it around a bit and it will fire off a load...

try and shoot with each spring, you'll find out which one will work best...start with the heaviest first....use the one that is the heaviest that works on your gun....good luck!

10% under. Is suppose to be for sub sonics. But u probably gotta cut the spring

Normal. Std velocity and maybe minimags.

10% over for hot rounds 1400+. I use the stock spring with a heavy buffer.

but theres more to it. Use heavy duty comdoms for recoil buffer.  You dont want the cock to go too far back

Use the standard spring.  I have had no problems with any ammo I fed my 10/22.

What about the 680 fps stuff? I have to cut the std spring
To make it work.

What 22LR ammo is that?  Never used it (short or powderless)
