which store has the cheapest stripped lowers on the island?

X-ring has some ultra low price polymer lowers, and metal ones.

 OGC occasionally has super deals on metal ones.

Hard to beat PSA for stripped lowers, especially when they are on sale with free shipping.  I think they had some blem lowers on sale for $40 a few days ago.....of course those are all sold out now.

Most local places are relatively expensive when compared with internet sources regardless of ffl fees. Ymmv. Check out the in stock lower thread on ar15.com's build it yourself forum. Otherwise I like to patronize OGC.

Isn't $99.95 for aluminum lower locally cheap enough?

That must have been quite awhile ago.  No knock on OGC as I like their shop but that pricing from Noveske has gone the way of the dinosaur.  You will be lucky to get a Gen2 N4 chainsaw for double that price now.

Noveske stopped producing Gen2 lower for their new upcoming Gen3 billet?. Got my chainsaw for $199 at OGC early last year. I just missed those days when Noveske gives you free blem lower when you buy their complete upper.

I have the disclaimer "ymmv" in my original post.  $100 is reasonable for a stripped lower.

Kaneohe Gun Shop was selling metal stripped lowers for $80 at the last gun show. Don't recall the brand, since I ended up going with a magnesium one.

Noveske Gen2 lowers use to be $215 before the madness...

Are the noveskes going up in price since the unfortunate passing of John?

Noveske Gen2 stuff is down the road. In my opinion Gen3 is ugly.  Grab what you can!

I recently picked up a nice Anderson lower with stainless LPK installed, 3 1/2 lb smooth trigger and captive rear takedown pin detent and spring for sub-$200 from X-Ring.
Price was for stripped lower and LPK, no labor charge.
Don't know if they have any left though.
