Yeah I'm glad I caught it halfway then watched the rerun last nite..  I was hoping the Big Island boys are not that territorial. Hehehe

I have yet to actually go hunting here on Kauai but friends and co-workers are hardcore hunters..  No where near that kind of drama around here. The biggest thing is poaching on other people's leased pastures..  Sure as hell wouldn't warrant a warning shot being fired over their heads..

But I hope they don't get cancelled they got some ivories on those boars!

I think a more real story would be about how the 400+ endangered plants and animals listed have impacted the ability of the people of Hawaii to provide for themselves.  I hear more stories about poaching and hunting with dogs in areas where you not supposed to hunt >:(

I hadn't seen this show on TV but I watched what I could bear online. Pretty stupid alright. Bunch of dumb hillbilly's out in the "jungle" pretending to be tough.

I watched it.  I just thought it was funny how some people I know make fun of the accents of the people on Moonshiners and other shows.  Yet these same people sound and look like these guys from the Big Island pig hunting.  The pidgin is strong with these guys.  It is kind of funny how it needs subtitles.

AJ is F**KIN" hilarious!!!  She has that accent down.

Not sure what was more degrading this show or that MTV one, Living Lahaina.  For a person who has never seen or been to Hawaii, just watching and listening to the people speak, one will never associate a college English major to this show.  I don't know about that mullet like hair and the toofless grills.

I know a lady at the take-out place that sounds just like that. The gal that cuts my hair sounds like that too.

I'd rather watch a show with her pig hunting in Hawaii.... Be more entertaining than the rubbish that they trying to pass off as hunting in Hawaii.

people in hawaii are morons. I honestly believe the intelligence level of people here is lower than most places I have been in the rest of the US. The school system sucks, the way people are raised coddles it.... etc etc. After being born and raised here, and then living elsewhere I am certainly not proud to say I am from hawaii anymore.
