we haven't had enforced signups  and not everyone is a 2aHI member
so we are stuck trying to drum up excitement and participation while not really being sure of who or how many are planning on attending
procedures will evolve as the months go by
so please, if you know people who have attended in the past, have them notify someone that they are planning on being there

i've done some shotgun transitions on my own in the afternoon
but it would be good to have a day where we can practice combat reloading, switching from slug to  buck, handgun transitions, strong side/weak side, etc

but dirty said at speedies house that we were definitely doing weak hand EVERY range day from now on
from the amount of whining that we heard, he knows that it's the correct decision
if you hate to do it, that's even more reason to practice it

Excellent.  As most are new to it, then I propose taking it at a 101 level with much repetition to build those base skills and not just throwing rounds down range.  Start with all off hand firing just to get comfortable with the new hold, sighting and firing.  Then to transition skill building: 1 round, switch, 1 round, switch; 2 rounds, switch, 2 rounds, switch; add movement (time allowing) mag changes etc.   Tons of stuff to do but not all at once

i count 25 or so people  between the staff and those that have answered on this thread
that means it's going to be VERY busy at the action bay (there are HDF members that are not 2aHI members)
plus MPPL will be having a big meet that weekend too
so space and parking will be at a premium
please make sure to arrive early to make sure you have your stuff unloaded and so you can get signed in and setup
and also to help set up the range
we will all need to help each other out so this day can go safely and smoothly
