That RK/Talo 1911 is bad ass and I would love to make one an EDC in a free state. :)   As it's said, nobody gets out of this life alive, and you can't take it with you.  I draw the line at gold plating though unless is a small logo detail or something.

I lost all my firearms in a horrible boating accident but if I would have had one, I'd want a gold plated Arsenal SAM7 with 2 matching gold plated magazines.

current bid is $13k now.   I guess it will never see a round down the pipe.  A shame really.  Don't know if it ever got fired as part of post assembly test, probably not?  Just imagine standing there, cold blue steel in your hand, the giraffe bone grips beginning to warm to your touch, one in the pipe, deciding whether to go for it or not  ;D
