I remember there was another HK resident that claimed it ruined "her" Kokohead. Don't see how as the archery range was just a field of weeds. No one cared for it then.
We need a org. "Friends of Kokohead"
While not about Kokohead, I heard that the now closed Kapiolani Archery site is being considered a dog park. How many dog parks do we need?

parks director stated the other week they are working with archery groups to reopen kapiolani archery range
we are planning on doing "adopt-a-park" or some sort of partnership with khsc in the new year

His comments say then need to act fast.  Then he says too late, fence already up.  I think this might be too late as well.  Time will tell.

No, but one can surmise his disdain for the range. I can only guess that he was responsible for those signs on the fence posts. A few people consider Kokohead "theirs".
