Thanks again to Dirty and the crew for putting everything together.  Big mahalos  to the guy who made the VTAC barriers for all of us to practice on.   Despite what Hdu says, my mag coupler is NOT sandbagging, lol!  I'd call it being prudently prepared for the 1&1 reload drill.

Sorry I didn't get around to this sooner, but I just wanted to thank you guys so much.

I was invited by forum member MACSAK, (over on the H&K forum) to come out to one of the shoots, and I'm really glad I did.  I went to the Kokohead FreeShoot on the 28th.  I haven't felt too welcome here in Hawaii, since moving here, because of the way I get treated, and even started to hate living here, but on saturday, I felt more welcome than I ever have here and would like to thank Macsak and the others that I met there.  Everyone was so friendly and nice to talk to, and invited me to more events.  You guys were very welcoming and I had a blast, talking to you all.  I know I'm forgetting everyone's names, but I'll learn them in time.  I can't thank you enough. Thanks to those that put on this awesome shoot, and I look forward to signing up for the next one!

Yeah, I was so excited to shoot during the free shoot that when I unloaded my case, I realized that I forgot my ammo at home

Nothing against ARs, I've got two... I just ran the levergun and was lagging on some of the revolutions. I'll bring the pistol too, transitions are always fun man...

I had one helluva time!  Really did!  My favorite moment was when I was shooting through a barricade and the RO shouted at me "Sideways!"  I shouted back "Why?"  Just a point for the M1 Carbine!

But, I have to ask, why were we instructed to bring slings when there were no exercises that used them?  Did we just run out of time?

yes tom we were going to sling up and run some more dynamic drills but time was tight and ran out.
