I pose this question to my fellow 2aHawaii posters who continue to support the Democrat Party: do you think it's a coincidence that Democrat controlled legislatures were the ones to pass more gun control?

Why continue to support the party that works against your 2a rights? Sure, you'll find a Republican here and there that agrees with this garbage, but the majority of the time it's the Democrat Party and their liberal base that continue to push to crap.

And I've heard the explanation that "you're not a one topic voter", but what could be more important than protecting the 2a? In many ways I think the 2a may be even more important than the 1st Amendment. Without the 2a, there isn't anything to prevent the government from taking away the 1a. The 2a is and always will be the ultimate bulwark against tyranny.
