Spent some time with a good friend last night, a long time local contractor.   As we were talking about Knudsen, the magic bullet finder, he dug around a drawer and plopped a .45ACP bullet in my hand.   I thought it was something he had fired at some point but it wasn't, it was found on the roof of a building he working way out in west Oahu.   It was fired, complete with rifling and some damage from the asphalt shingle it hit before coming to rest in a gutter.   The incident was over a decade old, reported, but that's about it... No media on that one 

No soap box here, not really trying to do anything but inform with this post except for one thing; and this is aimed at the "new" single post type folks we've seen around here lately... Not every "found" bullet originates from KHSC.
